Reflection

I learned from my teacher who is Mr. Hedley that there are steps that I have to follow in each paragraphs or assays to get a good mark and they are:

In assays it should be includes three paragraphs total about 150 words, Introduction and conclusion have to be between 25-30 words and the main paragraphs have to be about 100 words.

·In narrative assays I have to write it by this order: Use past continuous if we have to describe something happened while we are doing

The same linking words can be used: first, secondly, next, after that, finally.

In the model essays I post in my blog I usually color code in order to show
present passives, other passives and linking words.

Trip to Liwa

Six months ago I went with my friends to Liwa as a trip in the desert and we enjoyed our time there. We went there for one day and we came back the next day.

I went to Liwa with my friends Faisal, Ahmed and Salman. We went in Ahmed’s car which is a Land Rover. We moved in the afternoon from Abu Dhabi to Liwa and it took 3 hours to reach there. For me it was the first time to go camping in Liwa desert. The weather was wonderful and the sky was cloudy. When we first arrived at our location we started to prepare our things such as lighting a fire for the B.B.Q. and making coffee and tea. After that we sat together and enjoy our time there. Next day, we started to prepare ourselves to go back home. My friend Ahmed tried to start his car and it didn’t starts. We tried to call our friend who is living in Ghayathy but, there was no signal in our location. Suddenly, we saw a car cross over the dunes and come near to our location. We signaled to the driver to stop and help. He saw us and he asked if we needed any help. We told him about the problem with our car. He tried to fix our car and he did it. We thanked him for his help. He gave us his mobile number in case we needed any help in Liwa and he invited us to his house. We thanked him but told him we had to reach our homes before evening.

Finally, we reached our homes and we learned that we have to prepare carefully before we go on any trip.
